The Greenhouse 
Internet Cafe is the brainchild and design 
of  IntraDeveloper. Ken Montgomery is CEO and president of the company. 

"The way I look at this project  is  that  I  have created this parallel uni- 
verse, and I'm working to get to the other side.

 

 "The seed was planted 
for the Cafe when I visited South  Miami  Beach in '99". Ken stumbled onto something at  Mango's Tropical Cafe. 

"I came away from the place feeling like I was 
a part of a larger ex- 
perience. Thats the element I'm trying to capture". 
 

 
The Greenhouse
Internet Cafe is more 
than  just place to grab 
a Java and chat. Creating an  atmosphere, that stimulates the customers senses is paramount. 

Plants play an integral 
part in the design and theme. But they aren't  the  central  focus. Each table is outfitted with two diskless workstations. 

With less overhead 
and  maintenance on 
the terminals, we can 
concentrate on content. 
By having the majority 
of  the  content offered 
at  the local site, we can offer a wide variety of options for the guest. I have plans to capitalize 
on some of  the  excellent work that is happening in the  animation  industry. Bringing quality content  to the customer is our primary goal. 

Featured  artists and productions will ultimately draw  the  crowds, but there is also the gaming component to be con- 
sidered. "Most of the games today are multi- 
user". 

 As for  the future, 
Ken has already seen 
The Greenhouse Internet Cafe going 
from virtual, to real-
world already. A 3D walk-through has aided 
in the planning and 
design stage immensly.
